LOOSE FILMS MUSIC CAPABILITIES
A look inside the process
Public - One that I want
In our attempt to emulate a 1950s film style, we pulled inspiration from Golden Age era Hollywood films. Researching musicals such as An American in Paris (1951) and Singing In The Rain (1952) gave us references for set design and choreography. We also referenced projects that contained ‘film within a film’ concepts such as Hail, Caesar! (2016) and Living in Oblivion (1995).
Prior to shooting this project, we filmed the entire video without a set, wardrobe, actors, etc. This was crucial in figuring out all the specific timing within the video.
