The long standing practice of busking (street-performing) in New Orleans is drenched both in culture and tradition. New Thousand, a musical trio of Ohio natives, dropped everything to busk the streets of Nola in 2016. This documentary short Down & Dirty shows a glimpse into their lives.
From street corner politics to vibrant live concert footage, Loose worked to capture the spirit of New Orleans street performance through the eyes of a band that took a big risk to pursue their musical dreams. To survive and thrive in the streets, getting down and dirty is the only option.
