Last night, Loose Films received two awards at the ADDY (American Advertising Federation) awards. Loose received a Gold Addy for their White Moon music video with Sarob and the “Pride of Columbus” award for their featurette documentary Flooded Again.
The Gold ADDY for White Moon is of the utmost honor to us, as it highlights Loose’s creative intuition with regards to their highly inventive music video work. Working with Sarob on the project allowed us to take a deep dive into the acquiescence of visual aesthetics with an artist’s esteemed vocal prowess. The award is just as much a commemoration of Loose’s production efforts as it is Sarob’s artistic ingenuity.
The “Pride of Columbus” award for their efforts in making Flooded Again is especially sentimental to us, considering the award seeks to “honor local clients and home-grown work in any medium.” The film’s profiling of Columbus’ historic Franklinton neighborhood — and the effects of its growing development — has been heralded by Columbus natives for its dual perspective and stylistic tact in dealing with a vexed local subject.
