The Wexner Center for the Arts has a long tradition of excellence when it comes to the exploration and advancement of contemporary art. Needless to say, it was an honor to collaborate with them on one of their most recent projects.
Loose had the privilege of filming the installation and opening of Gray Matters, which features 37 contemporary women artists from Ohio and around the world as they display works in grisaille - the French term for working in shades of gray. Gray Matters, which was curated by Michael Goodson, marks the Wex’s return to internally curated exhibitions and will be on display until July 30th, 2017.
Our films feature interviews with the artists and curator as well as documentation of the works being installed and on display in the gallery. We could go on and on about the exhibition, but let’s let the video do the talking - check it out below and be sure to head to the Wex and see the pieces for yourself!
